One pebble. One pearl. That's the whole piece.
ALBE is the kind of sconce that disappears into the architecture and only becomes visible when the light is on. A solid walnut sphere, turned and oil-finished, anchors flush to the wall. Sitting on top of it: a small opal glass globe, hand-blown to a soft warm white. The two shapes touch and the light begins.
We took the proportion from the bedside lights of postwar Italian apartments, where a sconce was supposed to be present without ever interrupting the wall. The walnut reads as object. The opal reads as light. Nothing else.
One finish. Walnut on opal. The kind of sconce that goes anywhere quietly.
Solid walnut, hand-blown glass
The pebble is turned from solid walnut, then oil-finished by hand to keep the grain warm and the texture honest. The glass globe is hand-blown to a milky opal that diffuses the bulb evenly. No printed coatings, no plastic substitutes.
A single G9 socket accepts an LED bulb up to 7W. Dimmer-compatible on any standard wall dimmer. Damp-rated for baths and covered exteriors.
For bedrooms, baths, reading corners
Hardwires into any standard US junction box, wall or ceiling. The compact footprint (4 inches wide, 7 inches tall) makes it specify-able for narrow halls, alcoves, and stair walls where a larger fixture would crowd.
Sold individually. Most bedrooms call for two flanking the headboard.
