By design
Made to measure.
Hand-finished from natural materials, the MURA No.01 sits within a few millimeters of these specifications.
8.5 in (21.5 cm)
4.1 in (10.5 cm)

A wooden ring, a piece of gold, a quiet light.
When we designed MURA, we kept returning to one detail: the way a turned wood ring catches light along its profile. Mid-century Italian ateliers used this shape on radio dials and door pulls. Carlo Mollino used it as a frame for almost everything he touched. We borrowed the idea, scaled it for a ceiling.
MURA No.01 is small: 8.5 inches across, 4.1 inches deep. The outer ring is solid walnut, turned and finished by hand. A precision-machined brass collar sits inside it. Below, a concave opal glass lens diffuses an integrated LED.
The piece reads warm. Wood, metal, glass: each material doing one thing well.
Solid wood, real brass
The walnut is one piece, not laminated. The brass is precision-machined and lacquered to hold its warm gold tone. The opal lens is concave so it diffuses light without point sources.
The LED is integrated, non-replaceable, rated 50,000 hours. 3000K warm white, the color of a low candle. We do not chase brightness. We chase warmth.
Ceiling, wall, hallway, bath
Wires into any standard junction box. Damp-rated (IP44), so it lives in bathrooms and humid rooms most fixtures cannot follow. Mount it horizontally on a ceiling or vertically on a wall. Same hardware, same install.
One MURA above an entry corridor. Two above twin bathroom mirrors. Sized small, on purpose.
