RIGA returns us to the carpentry traditions of Brianza, where solid walnut was turned for the bedrooms and reading nooks of mid-century Italian apartments. The wood was always vertical, the form always linear, the light never decorative. RIGA No.07 sits in that line. A tall walnut column with a single band of fluted crystal glass cut into its face, lit from within by a warm integrated LED.
The fluting reads as vertical light when the sconce is on, as ribbed shadow when it is off. A brushed gold brass collar at the base ties the wood to the wall. The piece is 17.7 inches tall and 4.7 inches wide, scaled to a hallway or the wall above a writing desk.

Solid walnut, fluted crystal glass
The body is cut from one piece of European walnut and hand-finished. The grain runs the full height of the column. We chose walnut for its warmth, blackened oak for graphic rooms, and light ash for the cooler interiors in the family. The fluted crystal glass diffuser is hand-finished, with vertical grooves that catch and split the LED light evenly along the strip.
Brushed gold brass for the base collar. It does not pretend to be polished. It warms as the room ages around it.
Hardwired into the wall
Direct to any standard US junction box. The integrated LED runs at 2700-3000K warm white, dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. No bulb to swap, no socket to fail. Wired for standard 120V US circuits.
