When we drew ROCCA, we kept returning to a single object: a 1930s railroad signal lantern, set down on a wooden bench in a station waiting room. The kind of object that had purpose and presence both. ROCCA No.01 carries that gesture into a contemporary table lamp. A solid walnut base, a brass ring, a hand-blown cognac globe of ribbed glass, an integrated filament-style LED inside.
Two sizes. Same proportions.
Real walnut, real glass
The base is cut from solid European walnut and hand-finished with oil. Over years, it darkens. The brass ring is solid, not plated. The globe is mouth-blown with deep ribs and tinted cognac while hot. The integrated LED reads as a visible filament inside, the way a 1920s industrial bulb did.
