  • Two glowing tubes on one slim staff. Acrylic diffusers glow warm above and below a solid brass collar, on a machined metal body 15¾ inches tall. Lit, the sconce reads as one vertical line of light.

When we designed STELO, we kept returning to the slim ceremonial torches we have seen in old chapels: a single vertical staff, a small flame at the top, a small flame at the bottom. The shape is older than electricity. We translated it into a precise modern fixture and stopped there.

STELO is fifteen and three quarter inches tall. The body is machined metal, finished in either antique gold or deep matte black, with a brass collar at the center holding two acrylic diffuser tubes top and bottom. The bulbs behind glow warm through the translucent tubes.

It belongs on a feature wall: deep blue wainscoting, plaster panel, a marble hallway. Hung in pairs flanking a doorway, in a row of three down a corridor, or alone above a console.

Machined metal, replaceable LED

The body is a robust light alloy, machined and powder-coated for matte black, lacquered for antique gold. The brass collar at the center is solid. The fixture weighs less than a pound, hung from a hidden mount.

The diffuser tubes are precision-machined acrylic. The bulbs are replaceable G4 LED capsules, two free dimmable bulbs included. 1000 lumens between them.
