One line, one moon.
ASTRO No.01 plays on the same idea as the small Italian hotel-corridor sconces of the late 1970s. A vertical metal bar mounted to a small round backplate, with a single opal-glass globe set off to one side near the middle. The bar is the structure, the globe is the object.
Twelve inches tall, four wide. Small enough to live above a bedside table, graphic enough to anchor a hallway alone. Reads as a pair without crowding.
Two finishes for the bar and backplate: matte black for graphic contrast, brushed brass for warmth.
Steel rod, hand-blown opal
The bar is solid steel rod, finished in powder-coat black or brushed brass plating. The round backplate disappears against most walls.
The globe is hand-blown opal-white. It sits cradled by a small ring welded into the bar at mid-height. The G9 socket sits inside the globe, hidden from the room.
Built for hallways, bedside walls, narrow corridors
Single G9 socket, dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. Hardwired to a standard US junction box via the round backplate.
Sold individually. Pairs across a sofa or headboard, alone in narrow corridors.
