Tivoli quarried the travertine that Bernini carved for the colonnade of St. Peter's, and Roman architects since Hadrian have built ceilings around a single stone disc. LUNA No.03 inherits that lineage with a quieter accent. A travertine cupola sits flush against the ceiling, a walnut dome nests beneath it, and a hand-finished opaline globe glows at the center. The result reads less like a fixture and more like a small architectural moment.
Each travertine disc is cut from beige-cream blocks, polished to reveal the natural porosity that no two stones share. The walnut dome is turned from solid European wood, oiled by hand to deepen the grain. The opal glass is mouth-blown into a perfect sphere, then capped to a brass G9 socket housing. The three materials sit in a layered architecture that catches light from above the dome and lets it bloom downward through the milky glass.
LUNA No.03 measures 9¾ in (25 cm) across and 6¾ in (17 cm) deep, sized for a hallway, a powder room, or above a reading chair. It mounts as a flush ceiling fixture or as a sconce, with integrated wiring. Use a single G9 incandescent or LED bulb up to 10W, free dimmable bulb included. Works with a standard wall dimmer. The fixture is damp-rated, so it carries the same warmth into a covered porch or bathroom that it brings to a bedroom ceiling.
Pair LUNA No.03 above an entry console, then echo the family across a hallway with the flatter LUNA No.01 travertine disc, or step down to LUNA No.02 in a smaller hall.
