Why you'll love the MASSO No.01

Up-and-down light that grazes the wall. Two stone end-caps are gripped by a solid walnut belt, and the hidden LED shines up and down through the open ends, washing the wall above and below.
Cream Travertine or Volcano Black stone. Choose porous cream travertine for warm walls or textured Volcano Black stone against pale paint. Either way, the block is 8.7 inches wide and 6.3 inches tall.
Integrated 12W LED on your wall dimmer. The 3000K LED is rated for 50,000 hours. A standard U.S. junction box at 120V is all it needs, and it works with a standard wall dimmer.
Wiring hidden inside the walnut belt. The belt conceals the wiring, LED housing and mounting bracket, so you only see stone and wood. Place it along a hallway, beside a bed or up a stairway.

When we designed MASSO, we kept returning to the architectural sconces of post-war Italian apartment lobbies. Small. Solid. Built to throw light up the wall and down the floor at the same time. The kind of fixture you stop noticing because it has always been there.

MASSO is a horizontal block: two travertine end-caps gripped by a solid walnut belt. The light source sits inside, hidden. It washes upward and downward through the open ends, grazing whatever wall it's mounted to.

Available in cream travertine or volcano black stone. Both options keep the walnut belt for warm contrast.

Stone, wood, and a hidden bulb

The end-caps are cut from solid stone. The cream version uses beige travertine with natural pores. The black version uses a dark stone fired to a textured matte. Either way, no two are identical.

The belt is solid walnut, oiled and never lacquered. It conceals the wiring, the LED housing, and the mounting bracket. From the room you see two stones and one band of wood. The work is invisible.
