Why you'll love the PRATO No.03

  • Half-moon travertine cradling opal globes. A half-moon of hand-carved travertine, pin-holes left raw, holds one, two or three opal glass globes. The globes give a soft, even glow against the stone.
  • Hang it upright or sideways. The single is 7.1 inches tall, the double 11 inches and the triple 18.9 inches, all 3.9 inches wide. Run it vertically beside a bed or horizontally above a vanity.
  • Every globe gets a free G9 bulb. Hardwire it to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V and dim it with a standard wall dimmer. A solid walnut accent finishes the base.
  • Safe over a vanity, damp-rated. You can hang it over a bathroom vanity, beside a shower outside its spray zone or on a covered porch.

A half-moon of stone, holding small suns.

When we drew PRATO No.03, we kept returning to a single architectural detail: the half-moon niche in a Tuscan church wall, hollowed just enough to hold a candle. PRATO holds that shape. A half-moon profile of natural travertine, mounted flush to the wall, holding one, two, or three opal glass globes nested inside.

The stone is hand-carved from a single Tivoli block. The globes are blown from premium opaline glass for a soft even diffusion. Walnut or white accents finish the base, depending on the room.

Hand-carved, real opal

The travertine is real, sourced from Tivoli, not cast or pressed. We left the pin-holes raw. The globes are opaline glass, blown by hand, not frosted plastic.

Damp-rated. Built for vanities, showers (in their dry zone), and covered exteriors.
