Stone resting on walnut, lit from below. A solid travertine drum pierces a thin saucer of solid walnut. From underneath, a frosted glass diffuser lets out a soft circle of light that blooms against the wood.
Solo, double or a 32 in trio. Hang one above a bedside or a small table, two for symmetry, or the linear trio across a 32 in run over a kitchen island. Each saucer is 8 in across.
Free bulbs, one in every socket. Each pendant takes an E26 bulb, and free dimmable bulbs are included, one per socket. It hardwires to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V and dims with a standard wall dimmer.

TONDO No.04 began with an old idea from Carlo Scarpa's notebooks: a heavy element resting on a light one. A solid drum of travertine pierces a thin saucer of walnut, the proportions deliberately top-heavy. From below, a circle of soft light escapes through frosted glass.

The pendant reads two ways. From the side, a compact composition of stone and wood. From below, a quiet halo. We sized it modest, so a single TONDO works above a bedside, and a trio works above an island without overcrowding.

Real travertine, solid walnut

The drum is cut from a single block of Italian travertine. Pores read at arm's length. The saucer is solid European walnut, hand-cut to fit precisely around the stone. The braided cable is black cotton.

Light passes through frosted glass at the bottom of the drum. Diffused, never glaring, with a slight bloom against the underside of the walnut.
