  • Solid travertine hung from braided leather. A slim cylinder of solid travertine, 2.6 in across, hangs from a full-grain braided leather cord that softens with handling. Light leaves the base in a focused cone.
  • Four ways to hang it, two colors. Choose a solo cylinder for a nightstand, a double, a linear trio for an island or a triple circular cluster for a tall foyer. Pick Cream Travertine or Volcano Black, both with walnut.

CORTO No.03 began with the way leather aged in the studios of Carlo Scarpa. A slim cylinder of cream travertine, hung from a single braided leather cord. No metal canopy hardware, no plastic. The leather is the cable.

The cylinder is small, only 4 inches across and 9 inches long. Light escapes downward in a focused cone, lighting a surface directly below.

Four configurations: solo cylinder, double, linear trio, or triple circular for tall spaces.

Real travertine, full-grain leather

The stone is cut from one block of Italian travertine, finished soft to keep the pores legible. The leather is full-grain, dark walnut tone, the kind that softens with handling. The two materials age into each other.

Inside the cylinder, an E26 socket holds any standard bulb. A free dimmable bulb is included.

Built for halls and bedside drops

Mounts to any standard junction box. Leather cord adjustable on installation. Dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. Damp-rated for kitchens.

Solo above a nightstand. Trio above an island. Triple circular for a foyer.
