Why you'll love the RIGA No.02

  • A ribbed ceramic bell, half a size down. The hand-pressed white ceramic shade tapers inward like a small bell, with vertical ribs along its sides. It shares the beaded backplate and brass arm of the RIGA series.
  • Fits where a bigger shade would crowd. At 5 inches across the rim and 4.5 inches tall, it suits a narrow bedside niche or the panel between two windows. Run a pair down a narrow hallway.
  • Lacquered brass that keeps its tone. The solid brass swing arm articulates at the shoulder, so you can set the angle of the shade. Its lacquered antique brass finish holds its color for years.
  • Standard wiring, free E26 bulb. Connect it to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V and run it on a standard wall dimmer. A free dimmable E26 bulb ships with it.

The same gesture, taken down half a size.

RIGA No.02 is the smaller sister of the family. A ribbed white ceramic shade with a soft inward taper, hand-pressed in the same atelier as the rest of the series. Five inches across at the rim, four and a half tall, the shade reads more like a small bell than a column.

It hangs from the same brass swing arm and beaded ceramic backplate as the rest of the RIGA series. Side by side with No.01 the contrast is clear: same wall hardware, two different ceramic gestures. The taper is the option for smaller walls, narrower bedside niches, and the panel between two windows.

We use it most often in pairs along a hallway where a larger shade would crowd the space.

Hand-pressed ribbed ceramic

The shade and backplate are pressed by hand in white ceramic. The taper is shaped on the press, the vertical ribs cut in the same step. The kiln glazes each shade slightly differently and that is part of the form.

The brass swing arm is solid, machined, articulated at the shoulder. Lacquered antique brass that holds its tone for years.

Made for hallways, bedsides, and small walls

Standard E26 socket, dimmable, free dimmable bulb included. Hardwires into any standard junction box. Sized for a narrow wall section that asks for light, not a sculpture.

Smaller silhouette, same family. Two flank a hallway better than one.
