FUMO is the kind of sconce we wanted for a hallway that had nothing in it. A simple cylinder of natural linen, framed by a thin black iron lantern structure. The fabric softens the light. The iron gives it the rigor.
The diffuser is real woven linen with the slight texture of hemp, dyed in the loom. Inside, an integrated LED projects warm light through the weave. The frame is black iron, hand-forged with a single horizontal cross bar that holds the canopy plate.
At 11.8 inches tall and 5.1 inches across, it reads as a quiet vertical line on the wall. Slip it into a hallway. Mount in pairs flanking a bed. Run three along a corridor.

The shade is genuine linen-weave fabric, not printed paper. Backed by a quiet diffuser film so the LED reads evenly through the weave without revealing the fixture inside.
The iron frame is hand-forged, not bent from stock. Matte black powder-coat finish that wears in slowly. The integrated LED module is non-replaceable, rated 50,000 hours.
