When we designed PIANO, we kept returning to the architectural light bars of Italian and Scandinavian sixties hotels. Single material, single length, no visible hardware. The kind of light that reads as part of the wall finish rather than an addition to it.
PIANO is a 1.6 by 1.6 in (4 by 4 cm) bar of solid walnut, hollowed out to hold an integrated LED. Available in four lengths from 23.6 to 47.2 in (60 to 120 cm), plus a 59 in (150 cm) extended model for entryways and long halls. Choose downlight only, or up-and-down for a halo effect on both walls.
Available in light or dark walnut. Mountable above a headboard, along a hallway, or above a long bench.
Solid wood, hollowed by hand
Each bar is cut from a single length of European walnut. The LED channel is routed and finished from the back. From the room you see one length of wood, glowing at the edge or at both edges.
The light source is an integrated LED strip, 50,000-hour rated, 3000K warm. No bulbs to replace. The mounting bracket is hidden inside the back of the bar.

Direct-wired into any standard junction box. Indoor use only. Dimmable with a wall switch. Integrated LED, no bulbs needed.
