Why you'll love the CORA No.01

  • Hand-glazed porcelain with a scalloped rim. The scalloped edge is shaped before firing, and the glaze pools slightly at the rim. Lit, it glows softly over a kitchen table or reading nook.
  • Five glazes, from quiet to bold. Choose Bone White or Sand for a calm room, or Olive Green, Sky Blue or Dusty Rose for one accent of color. At 9.4 in across, it hangs alone or in threes over an island.
  • Mounts at 120V with a free bulb. The 59 in braided cord is trimmed to your ceiling and hardwired to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V. It works with a standard wall dimmer, and a free dimmable E26 bulb is included.
  • Solid brass, left to patina. The aged brass cap is solid and unlacquered, so you'll watch it darken to a warm patina over the years.

The light of a ceramic atelier, in a single pendant.

CORA started as a question. What if a pendant could feel like a piece of pottery left on a kitchen counter? Not a fixture, but an object: glazed, slightly imperfect, made by a hand that understood weight.

The shade is porcelain, thrown and glazed in a small workshop. The brass cap is aged by hand, the way old hardware looks after a few decades in a family kitchen. A vintage-style braided cord finishes the line from ceiling to glaze.

Five glaze colors let CORA disappear or assert itself. Bone White or Sand for quiet rooms. Olive Green, Sky Blue, or Dusty Rose when a wall needs a single accent.

Glazed by hand, never identical

Each shade is thrown on a wheel and finished by hand. The scalloped edge is shaped wet, before firing, so no two drapes break the same way. The glaze pools slightly at the rim. The variation is the point.

The brass is solid, not plated. It will darken with time and humidity. We do not lacquer it. We trust that ten years from now you will prefer the patina to the polish.

Built for kitchens and reading nooks

Hardwired to any standard ceiling junction box. Cord 59 in, trimmed to your ceiling height. E26/E27 socket, 40W incandescent or LED equivalent (free dimmable bulb included). 120V. Best in clusters of three above a long island, or alone above a small kitchen table.

Five glazes. One shade. Made to glow softly above the meals that matter.
