A saturn ring of stone over a globe of glass.
When we drew SOVA, we were looking at the wide-brimmed mineral pendants used in the early showrooms of post-war Milan. A flat ring of stone that catches the upward light, a soft opal globe held just below it that holds the downward light. The composition reads as one shape from below and as two from the side.
Each disc is hand-cut from raw Italian travertine and left unfilled. A small walnut bead caps the cord at the top, a quiet visual stop against the dark braided cable. The opal globe nests inside the ring like a planet centered in its orbit.
Available as a single 7 inch disc or a linear arrangement of three discs on a 31.5 inch black bar.

The travertine is cut from a single block per disc. Pore patterns vary. The opal globe is hand-blown to a soft matte. The cord is a 59 inch braided black cable, fully adjustable at install. Ceiling canopy is matte black metal.
Compatible with sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees.
