Why you'll love the RIGA No.03

  • Pleats that fan light across the wall. The wide white ceramic umbrella is hand-pleated, its folds radiating from the socket like a parasol. When lit, the crests catch warm light and throw a small fan onto the wall behind.
  • The widest shade in the RIGA series. At 7.5 inches across and 3.5 inches tall, it spreads a soft pool of light over a whole vanity counter. A pair framing a tall mirror works well.
  • Same brass arm, same beaded backplate. The lacquered solid brass arm articulates at the shoulder. Its 4¾-inch beaded backplate matches RIGA No.01 and No.02, so you can mix shades in one house.
  • Dimmable, with the E26 bulb supplied. A free dimmable E26 bulb is included, ready for your standard wall dimmer. It hardwires to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V.

The widest gesture in the series.

RIGA No.03 is the umbrella shade. A wide, deeply pleated ceramic disc, hand-pressed in the same atelier as the rest of the family. The pleats radiate from the brass socket like the ribs of a parasol, catching warm light along their crests and dropping shadow into their grooves.

The shade is the widest in the RIGA series, sized for a vanity that wants a soft pool of light across the whole counter. Held by the same brass swing arm and beaded ceramic backplate as No.01 and No.02, it slots into a mixed installation without breaking the family vocabulary.

The pleats throw a small fan of light onto the wall behind the fixture. We design houses where two of these flank a tall vintage mirror.

Hand-pleated ceramic, solid brass arm

Each pleat is shaped before firing. The ceramic settles slightly in the kiln. No two umbrellas read identically, especially in raking light. The brass arm is solid, machined, lacquered to keep its tone, articulated at the shoulder.

The backplate is the same beaded ceramic disc as the rest of the family. Closing the loop on the design language.

Made for vanities, hallways, and reading walls

Standard E26 socket, dimmable, free dimmable bulb included. Hardwires into any standard junction box.

The wide gesture of the family. Pair flanks a tall mirror beautifully.
