Why you'll love the COLLE No.01

  • Light up and down, never sideways. Light leaves the top and bottom of a slim aluminum bar and grazes your wall in both directions. Sitting about 1.5 in from the wall, the fixture almost disappears.
  • Five lengths, from 4 to 32 inches. Use Micro (4 in) around a garage, Small (8 in) at a door, Medium (16 in) on an entry wall, Large (24 in) on a tall porch or XL (32 in) on a column.
  • Matte Black or Matte White, three color temperatures. Match the bar to your facade, then pick warm 3000K, neutral 4000K or cool 6000K white.
  • Wet-rated (IP65) aluminum, built for salt air. Anodized, powder-coated aluminum is sealed against rain and dust and won't pit in salt air. It hardwires to a standard U.S. exterior box at 120V, with a 50,000-hour LED.

By design

Made to measure.

Hand-finished from natural materials, the COLLE No.01 sits within a few millimeters of these specifications.

Diameter

2.1–2.8 in (5.4–7 cm) wide · 1.4–1.5 in (3.5–3.8 cm) projection

Height

3.8 in (9.7 cm) micro · 8 in (20.5 cm) small · 16 in (41 cm) medium · 24 in (61 cm) large · 32 in (81 cm) XL

Weight

0.7–3.5 lbs (0.3–1.6 kg) depending on size

One line of light, scaled five ways.

COLLE is the kind of outdoor sconce that doesn't read as a fixture. From a few steps back, it disappears. A thin vertical bar, almost flush against the facade, throwing a clean wash of light up the wall and another down toward the threshold. The Italian villa architects of the 1960s did this with recessed channels milled into stone. We did it with a precision aluminum bar you can hardwire into any modern facade.

Five sizes were sized for real American homes. Micro at 4 inches for accent placement around a garage. Small at 8 inches for door surrounds. Medium at 16 inches for entry walls. Large at 24 inches for double-height porches. And the 32 inch version for column wraps and grand entryways.

Two finishes, Matte Black or Matte White. Two color temperatures, warm or cool. Order one or order the family.

Solid aluminum, sealed at the seams

The housing is solid anti-corrosion aluminum, anodized then powder-coated. We chose aluminum over stainless steel because it's lighter, won't pit in salt air, and ages without the streaking you get from cheaper alloys. The internal LED is a premium integrated module rated for 50,000 hours.

Wet-rated (IP65) against rain and dust. 120V input. Dimming available on request.

Where it belongs

Lining a long entry walk, marking a garage door, framing a front door in pairs, climbing a column. Anywhere you want light without the fitting interrupting the line of the architecture.

Sold individually. Most facades read best with two or four.
