The garden path light, built like architecture.
When we designed COSTA, we kept returning to the porch lights of Liguria fishing villages: tall, slim columns of fluted glass framed in cast iron. The kind of light that has weathered a hundred Atlantic storms and still works.
COSTA replaces the cast iron with anti-corrosion aluminum and the iron-and-bolts joinery with hidden silicone seals. The fluted glass remains, exactly because nothing throws light onto a wall the way real ribbed glass does.
Four heights from 23.6 in to 47.2 in. Three color temperatures: warm 3000K for entries, neutral 4000K for working facades, cool 6000K for security walls. Wet-rated (IP65) and sealed.
Real glass column, sealed aluminum frame
The fluted glass column is the working part. It refracts the LED into a vertical pattern that grazes the wall on both sides. The aluminum frame is the structure. Powder-coated black, anti-corrosion, rated for direct rain.
The LED is integrated and sealed against the glass with industrial silicone. IP65 means dust-tight and rated for jets of water from any direction. Built to live outside without a roof.
Made for the entry, the garden, the long facade
Direct-wired into any standard outdoor junction box. Indoor compatible. 18W to 36W integrated LED depending on length. Non-dimmable (standard for outdoor LED).
