ALTO is a tribute to the Scandinavian Space Age pendant every designer knows by heart. Two nested hemispheres, one inside the other, hiding the bulb while throwing light downward through the gap. The architecture is honest. The light is sculptural and warm. The piece transforms a kitchen island, an entry alcove, or a child's bedroom into a small room of color.
What sets ALTO apart from the cheap copies is the build. The shade is forged iron, finished with a clean-room baked lacquer that gives a mirror brilliance closer to enameled steel than to powder coat. The colors don't chip the way budget pendants do. The hemispheres stay aligned for decades.
Three sizes (6, 9, or 15 inches) and eleven lacquer colors give you the full range. Singular and bold, or quiet and quiet.
Forged iron, clean-room lacquer
The shade is high-precision forged iron, hand-finished and lacquered in a clean room. The fabric-braided cord and metal socket are matched to the body color for visual consistency. Small (6 in) uses a G9 socket. Medium and Large use E26/E27.
Cord drops 59 inches and adjusts during install. Works with a standard wall dimmer.
