A travertine plinth carrying a small white globe.

MORA No.04 was sketched as two volumes resolving into one object. A solid plinth of authentic beige travertine, hand-shaped, supporting a hand-blown opal glass globe at its top. No arm, no stem. The travertine is the architecture. The globe is the light.

Available as a Conical plinth (slightly wider at the base, eight inches tall) for a grounded silhouette, or a Cylindrical plinth (slimmer, twelve inches tall) for vertical emphasis. Both carry the same opal globe.

Made for surfaces where one quiet light wants to do all the work: a console behind a sofa, the corner of a kitchen island, a bookshelf shelf at eye height. The cord trails along the back of the lamp and disappears.

Hand-carved travertine, mouth-blown opal glass

Each plinth is carved from a single block of beige travertine. The porosity and veining are real, slightly different on every lamp. The opal globe is mouth-blown and frosted on the inside in a second pass, so the light reads diffuse from any angle.

G9 socket accepts any bulb up to 10W incandescent equivalent. Cord is 59 inches with a push-button inline switch. Works with a separate plug-in lamp dimmer.
