Why you'll love the ALABA No.03

  • One solid block, carved hollow. A single hand-carved block of real alabaster hides the LED inside, so the light comes through the stone itself. No veneer, no metal trim on the face, and the veining differs on every block.
  • Tall and slim for one vertical wall. At 25½ inches tall, 6¼ inches wide and 4 inches deep, one sconce is enough to anchor the wall beside a vanity, a bed or an entry door.
  • Bathroom-safe in warm or cool white. It's damp-rated (IP44), so it can hang beside a bathroom mirror. Choose warm 3000K for bedrooms and living rooms, or cool 6000K for the bath.
  • Hardwired, dimmable, built for decades. Your electrician connects it to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V, and it works with a standard wall dimmer. The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours.

One block of stone, lit from inside.

When we designed ALABA No.03, we wanted to keep the stone whole. No cladding, no veneer, no plate behind it. A single block of real alabaster, carved hollow, with the LED hidden inside the wall mount. What you see is one piece of mineral, glowing.

The proportions are deliberately tall and narrow. Twenty-five inches high, six inches wide, four inches deep. The size flatters a vertical wall the way a single column flatters a colonnade.

Veining varies. Each block is cut from a different section of the quarry. Some glow uniformly cream. Others carry darker mineral threads down the length. The variation is the point.

Carved, not assembled

The alabaster block is cut and hollowed by hand in a small atelier. The LED module sits inside the carved cavity so the light comes through the stone, not around it. No visible fastener, no metal trim showing on the face.

Choose warm 3000K for living rooms and bedrooms, or cool 6000K for the bath. Damp-rated (IP44) for humid rooms. Lasts 50,000 hours.
