The smallest pendant we make.

TONDO No.05 began with a problem in our own studio. We wanted a pendant for a bedside that didn't dominate the wall behind it. The result is the smallest piece in the catalog: a 4-inch drum of travertine, capped with a small block of dark wood, hung from a braided black cable. It hangs in space the way a piece of jewelry does.

The drum reads as a single object. The pores of the stone are visible up close, the wood cap reads warm against the cream. A small interior reflector catches light off the lower edge of the stone before it spreads.

Real travertine, hand-paired with wood

The stone is cut from a single block in a small Italian atelier. The wood is dark rubberwood, chosen for grain and weight to match the stone. The black cable is braided cotton, the canopy black metal.

The result is small but heavy. It feels handmade in the hand.

Plays well in series

One alone is a quiet accent. Three in a row above a table reads like a row of stone medallions. 59-inch cable adjustable on installation.
