Why you'll love the LATTE No.01

  • Solid white marble, lit at its center. A flat disc of natural marble holds one small bulb in a center cup. The warm light grazes the stone's face, and the veining differs on every disc.
  • Three diameters, 2 inches off the wall. Choose 7.9, 9.8 or 11.8 inches across. At only 2 inches deep, a pair can line a narrow corridor, or you can hang one above a console.
  • Chrome or brass behind the bulb. The machined steel cup holds the bulb close to the marble. Pick Polished Chrome for a cooler look or Brushed Brass to warm the white stone.
  • Hardwired and dimmable, bulb in the box. It mounts to a standard U.S. junction box through its integrated plate at 120V and works with a standard wall dimmer. A free dimmable G9 bulb ships with it.

A disc of stone, mounted flat to the wall.

When we sketched LATTE, we were drawing on the small wall sconces that anchor the corridors of mid-century Italian houses. A round disc of marble, recessed by an inch or two, with one small bulb at its center. No arms, no shades, no hardware competing for attention. The stone is the subject.

LATTE is built around that single move. A flat round disc of Carrara marble, hand-cut and finished, with a small metal cup at the center holding a G9 bulb. Three sizes: 8, 10, and 12 inches across.

Two finishes for the central cup: polished chrome and brushed brass. The marble is always Carrara, always book-matched in pairs when you order two.

Cut from a single slab, hand-finished

The disc is cut from a single block of Italian marble, then ground flat to within 0.02 in (0.5 mm) and polished. The veining is selected before cutting, so each piece reads as a deliberate composition rather than a random off-cut.

The center cup is machined, finished by hand, and sealed with a small lacquer pass. It holds a single G9 bulb close to the marble face, so the stone catches the warm light at its surface.

Built for hallways, corridors, beside a mirror

Single G9 socket, dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. Hardwired to a standard US junction box via the integrated mounting plate. The disc sits about two inches off the wall.

Reads best in pairs along a corridor, or as a single anchor above a console.
