FILO is the kind of fixture we kept seeing in small Italian boutique hotels: a thin metal teardrop bracket holding one opal sphere away from the wall, drawing the bulb out into space. The geometry is quiet enough to disappear once the room is lit.

The bracket is forged iron, bent into a single closed loop in the shape of a teardrop. From a round wall plate, the loop reaches forward and cradles a frosted opal glass globe at its lowest point. The bulb sits inside the globe, soft and unsourced.

14.6 inches tall. 4.7 inches deep from the wall. Two finishes: matte black or brushed gold. Both age slowly, neither flakes.

Forged iron, frosted opal glass

The bracket is single-piece forged iron, not assembled. The wall plate is small and circular, sized to disappear behind the loop. The opal globe is real frosted glass, not coated plastic. Diffuses any G9 bulb evenly across its surface.

Ships with a free dimmable G9 bulb. Direct on-off wiring, no dimmer required, though dimmable with a standard wall dimmer.
