Why you'll love the BOSCO No.01

  • Walnut and oak rings that leak light. Four rolled veneer rings alternate walnut and oak in a Saturn-like stack. The single bulb glows out between every layer and draws warm seams on the wall behind.
  • Pick the lighter or the darker wood mix. Light Oak-Dominant suits blonde and white rooms, while Dark Walnut-Dominant fits richer mid-century spaces. Both are oil-finished, with no paint or stain.
  • Sized to hang over a dining table. At 13¾ in across and 11 in tall, it's at its best at dining height, where you catch the light between the rings. The braided cable adjusts up to 59 inches.
  • Dims low on your wall dimmer. Wire it to any standard U.S. junction box at 120V, then dim it from a standard wall dimmer. A free dimmable E26 bulb is included.

When we drew BOSCO No.01, we were looking at the bentwood lampshades of mid-century Czech and Italian workshops: thin veneers, alternating tones, rolled into tapered rings and stacked into a Saturn-like silhouette. The technique is older than industrial lighting. The proportions never went out.

Our pendant alternates American walnut and European oak in four rolled rings. A small cap, a wider middle, and a flared base. Light leaks softly between each layer, lit from a single bulb at the center.

Two color directions: lighter (oak-dominant) or darker (walnut-dominant).

Real bentwood, rolled by hand

Each ring is a single sheet of natural-grain veneer rolled to a precise taper. The wood is finished with a natural oil that lets the grain breathe. No paint, no stain.

The cord is a 59 inch braided cable. Standard E26 socket, 40W max LED equivalent bulb.

For dining tables and reading rooms

Hardwires into any standard US junction box. Dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. The pendant works best at the height of a dining table, where the light leaks between rings catch the eye.
