When we designed AVOLA, we were thinking about the way Milanese galleries hang single lights against monolithic stone walls. The contrast between a heavy, veined block and a perfect pearl of glass became the entire idea. AVOLA is that contrast turned into a wall fixture.
A vertical plate of real Italian marble holds one, two, or three opal glass globes in line. The marble does the architectural work. The opal does the lighting work. Nothing else competes.
Three configurations let you scale to the wall. Single for a powder room or vanity, double for an entry, triple for a stair or a long hallway.
Italian stone, sorted not styled
The marble is quarried in Italy and cut into the AVOLA plate by hand. Veining varies from slab to slab. We don't grade them, and we don't pretend two pieces look identical. The opal globes are blown with thick walls so the LED reads as a pearl rather than a bulb.
The metal fixtures connecting marble to globe are precision-machined and finished to disappear. The marble is the visible material. Nothing else needs to be.
