A vertical line that grazes the wall above and below.
INCA No.02 was drawn as a single vertical bar. A terrazzo cylinder of warm beige composite with cream and rust mineral chips, mounted to a solid walnut backplate by a slim matte black collar. Two openings, one at each end, let light escape only up and down. The wall above and below glows.
The technique is called wall grazing. It reveals the architecture of a room rather than fighting it. INCA No.02 was made for hallway runs, vanity walls flanking a mirror, and the narrow stretches beside a tall door.
Two heights: Standard (11 in) for compact walls and Tall (12.6 in) for taller volumes. The walnut backplate is identical in both, so a hallway running both sizes still reads as a single system.
Cast terrazzo cylinder, solid walnut base
Each cylinder is cast in our atelier from a custom terrazzo mix with cream and rust chips on a warm beige matrix. The walnut backplate is solid wood, oiled in our atelier. The collar is matte black metal, intentionally minimal.
Two G9 sockets, one at each end of the cylinder. Free dimmable bulbs included, up to 10W incandescent equivalent each. Works with a standard wall dimmer.
