An hourglass cut from real stone, lit at both ends.
VETTA started as a single sketch of a Carlo Scarpa wall detail in Verona. Two cones meeting at the waist. The whole figure carved out of one block. Around it, the room would be quiet, but the small fixture would carry the architecture forward.
Our version is 17.3 inches tall and 5.3 inches wide. The center body is carved from one of five real stones: beige travertine, red travertine, white jade, green jade. Each piece is unique because the stone is. A pair of opal globes sit at the top and bottom on small black-metal mounts.
The light flows both up and down. The travertine or jade body sits in the middle, catching the warm wash from both globes. Two G9 sockets, dimmable, indoor or covered outdoor.
Real stone, machined hardware
The body is solid natural stone, hand-shaped on a lathe. We do not coat it. The travertine reads its pores. The jade reads its layered translucency. Five finishes available: Cream Travertine, Red Travertine, White Jade, Green Jade, with a fifth optional in matched pairs.
The globes are pressed opal glass, dense enough to never read as a hot point. The mounts are precision-machined metal in matte black. The two G9 sockets each accept a 10W max bulb (LED equivalent).

IP44 rated for damp locations, which means it lives in a primary bath, a steam room, or a covered outdoor entry without compromise. Hardwires into any standard junction box. Works with a standard wall dimmer.
