When we designed IMOLA No.01, we kept the materials honest and the stack obvious. A circle of travertine grounds the lamp. A fluted column of solid wood gives it the architectural moment. A linen shade caps it. Three pieces, three real materials, no decorative shortcuts.
The fluted column reads differently from every angle. The deep grooves catch room light as well as the bulb's own glow, so the lamp stays interesting even with the switch off. The linen shade is unbleached and simple, sized to balance the column without crowding the room.
Three finishes for the column: warm walnut for living rooms, lighter natural wood for kitchens and bedrooms, and deep black for graphic interiors.
Fluted by hand
Each column is turned and grooved from solid European wood, then hand-oiled or painted depending on finish. The base is real travertine, cut and finished with natural pores visible. The shade is a premium linen weave.
