Liguria's ceramic workshops kept their blue indigo glaze recipe under lock for generations. The pattern shows up on bowls in Pisa, on church tiles in Genoa, on cups in the small bars near the Arno. FIORA No.01 brings that hand-painted indigo onto a wall sconce, with a solid brass arm holding the ceramic shade away from a textured white ceramic backplate.
The shade is fired in premium ceramic, with hand-applied blue indigo floral patterns on a white ground. Each piece reads slightly different because the paint pools where the brush rests. The arm is solid brass, hand-finished to a soft gold, articulated so the shade tips toward the wall or away from it. The backplate is a separate ceramic disc, textured white, mounting flush to the wall and continuing the artisanal vocabulary into the hardware.
FIORA No.01 measures 6¾ in long by 5 in tall (L 17 x H 13 cm). It hardwires into a standard junction box and accepts one E26 bulb up to 40W, free dimmable bulb included. Dimmable with a standard wall dimmer. The fixture installs as a wall sconce or as a small ceiling pendant. Damp-rated, so it works above a kitchen sink, beside a vanity mirror, or under a covered terrace.
