  • Walnut facets with brass glowing between. Long facets of solid walnut, oil-finished to show the grain, join into a vertical prism. The brushed brass interior reflects the bulb out through the open seams.
  • Hang one, two or three in a row. The 9.8-inch-tall, 8.7-inch-wide shade suits a console, a kitchen island or a dining table. Its 59-inch cord shortens easily at install, and you can hang it from ceilings sloped up to 30 degrees.

Wood folded into a prism.

ORBIT is a pendant we kept coming back to. Solid walnut, cut into long flat facets, joined to form a vertical prism. From the side, the silhouette reads as a faceted gem suspended on a cord. From below, the brushed brass core glows through the gaps between the facets. We borrowed the gesture from the Space Age wooden pendants of postwar Scandinavia, but the proportions are Italian: tighter, narrower, more vertical.

One bulb sits inside the prism. The brass interior reflects the warmth outward through the open seams. The walnut shows its grain across every facet.

Single finish: walnut on brushed brass. Order one above a console, two over a kitchen island, or three down a dining table.

Solid walnut, brushed brass interior

Each facet is cut from solid walnut, planed flat, then joined to form the prism. Oil-finished to bring out the grain. The interior of the shade is brushed brass, polished and lacquered to keep its warm gold tone.

One E26 socket accepts an LED bulb up to 40W equivalent. Works with a standard wall dimmer. Cord drops 59 inches and adjusts easily during install. Sloped-ceiling compatible up to 30 degrees.

Dining tables, halls, kitchens

Hardwires into any standard US junction box. Best read from the side, where the prism geometry carries the eye and the brass core glows from within.
