Why you'll love the VENA No.01

  • Emerald marble with a rough, rocky face. The disc is real green marble, hand-cut and left textured so light catches along its peaks. The veining shifts from piece to piece, so no two are alike.
  • An opal globe glowing at the edge. A small globe of blown opal glass sits at the rim of the dark stone and turns the bulb into a soft, warm glow. At 7.9 in across, it stays quiet from across the room.
  • Free G9 bulb, works with your dimmer. It hardwires to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V and dims with a standard wall dimmer. A free dimmable G9 bulb is included.
  • Wall or ceiling, bath or porch. The same hardware mounts it as a sconce or as a small ceiling light. Damp-rated (IP44), it suits bathrooms, kitchens and covered porches.

Green marble, the way it should read on a wall.

When we designed VENA, we kept returning to one image: a piece of veined green marble set against a quiet wall, with a small light at its edge. Roman palazzo bathrooms have used emerald marble for centuries. Post-war Italian architects pared it down to a sconce. We followed.

The base is real emerald marble, with deep green tones broken by lighter veining. The stone is cut and finished by hand, with a textured rocky face that catches light along its peaks. A small opal glass globe rests at the disc's edge, lit by a single G9 bulb.

The piece is compact: 8 inches across, 8 deep. Quiet from across the room. A small statement up close.

One slab, one globe

The marble is real, not engineered. Every disc is slightly different: the veining shifts, the inclusions move, the surface texture varies. We do not polish them flat.

The opal globe is real blown glass. It diffuses the bulb into a soft, candle-warm glow. The contrast between dark stone and white light is intentional.

Mount it anywhere humid

Wires into any standard wall box. Damp-rated (IP44) for bathrooms, kitchens, covered porches. Mount vertically on a wall or horizontally on a ceiling. Same hardware. Standard G9 socket, dimmable with a standard wall dimmer.

Best in pairs around a bathroom mirror. Or alone where one piece of stone is enough.
