Why you'll love the ARCO No.01

  • Travertine ribbon arching over opal glass. A curved strip of real beige travertine bends forward from a solid walnut base and caps an opal glass globe. Its open pores stay visible, so each arc looks a little different.
  • Slim enough for a vanity wall. At 9¾ inches tall and only 3½ inches wide, it fits a narrow strip of wall. Mirror a pair across a vanity, or hang one above a console.
  • IP44 damp rating for bathrooms. It's damp-rated (IP44), so it can hang above a bathroom vanity or on a covered outdoor entry wall. You can also mount it to a low ceiling.

When we designed ARCO, we were looking at the curved travertine details of post-war Italian palazzo entries. The way a single carved arc could cap a doorway and turn a wall into architecture. ARCO is that gesture made small enough to live on a residential wall.

A vertical ribbon of real travertine arches forward from a solid walnut base. Beneath it, a hand-blown opal glass globe catches the light and softens it. The stone is the architectural gesture. The wood grounds it. The opal does the work.

Mounts to wall or ceiling, hardwired into a standard junction box.

Honest stone, honest wood

The travertine is cut and shaped by hand. The arc carries the natural beige texture of the stone, with the small pores that travertine never tries to hide. The base is solid walnut in two finishes: warm walnut or lighter natural wood, both finished with a hand-rubbed oil.

The opal globe is mouth-blown thick enough to soften the G9 socket into a quiet pearl. Damp-rated (IP44) for humid rooms, so it lives above a vanity or in a covered outdoor entry without trouble.
