  • Yellow travertine around an opal sphere. The 3.9 in cube is solid yellow travertine with its grain open on every face, so no two match. A hand-blown opal globe sits in one face and glows without glare.
  • Built for the vanity wall. At 7.9 in tall, one sits beside a vanity mirror and two flank a basin. Each lights about 30 to 65 sq ft with soft, diffused warmth.

When we sketched MODENA, we kept coming back to the rigorous geometry of post-war Italian bath fittings. Total commitment to the cube. Total commitment to the sphere. Nothing decorative anywhere on the fixture. The contrast carries the design.

MODENA is a 3.9 inch cube of solid yellow travertine, hollowed on one face to hold a milky opal glass globe. Total height is 7.9 inches including the projecting sphere. The cube reads as architecture; the globe reads as light.

Hang one beside a vanity mirror. Hang two flanking a bathroom basin. The cube and globe carry the same gesture in any quantity.

Yellow travertine, milky opal

The cube is solid yellow travertine, sawn and hand-finished to expose the grain on every face. The globe is milky opal glass, hand-blown and softly luminous, diffusing the G9 source into a glare-free pool.

G9 socket accepts LED, halogen, or low-energy bulbs. Suggested warm white 2700K LED for the best read against the travertine. Free dimmable bulb included.

Bath-ready, dimmer compatible

Designed for bathrooms and vanities. Hardwires to any standard junction box. 120V. Compatible with any standard wall dimmer using the included dimmable bulb.
