A small fortified wall, holding a moon.
When we drew LUNA No.07, we kept returning to a single architectural reference: the crenellated battlements of Tuscan medieval villas. The toothed edge that runs along the top of a wall, half decoration, half function. LUNA No.07 holds that edge at small scale. A travertine canopy carved with a notched, crenellated profile, suspending a single opal glass globe just below.
The stone is hand-cut from a single Tivoli block. The crenellations are sharp enough to read as geometry, soft enough to feel hand-carved. The opal globe is mouth-blown and floats below on a small walnut or white cylinder.
Mountable on a wall or ceiling. Damp-rated for vanities and covered exteriors.
Real stone, real opal
The travertine is sourced from Tivoli. Each canopy shows its own porosity. The pin-holes are left raw. The opal globe is hand-blown, not frosted plastic.
