Why you'll love the LUCE No.01

  • Natural travertine with its pinholes left open. The base is hand-cut from a single block of travertine, with its pinholes and figure left unfilled, so no two lamps look alike. A soft white acrylic dome sits on top.
  • Low enough for the middle of the table. At 4.7 inches tall and 6.1 inches across, it sits on a dinner table, a kitchen counter or a bedside without crowding it.
  • Brightness at the touch of the base. Touch controls on the base set the brightness, and the integrated LED switches between warm, neutral and cool light. It's rated for 50,000 hours.

A small saucer of stone, lit from above.

When we drew LUCE, we kept returning to a single image: a candle on a stone trivet, sitting on a Tuscan terrace at dusk, lit just enough to read by. LUCE No.01 holds that gesture, electrified and portable. A 6-inch saucer base of natural travertine, a small dome diffuser of premium acrylic above, an integrated LED inside, a USB port at the back.

It runs cordless. It takes itself wherever you take dinner. The light has three color temperatures, all warm.

Real stone, real portability

The base is hand-cut from a single block of natural travertine. Pin-holes and figure are left raw. The dome is a pure white acrylic, picked for its softness against the stone (not a substitute for glass, an honest material in its own right). The LED is fully integrated and rated for 50,000 hours.

Indoor or outdoor. The body is sealed for damp environments. Carry it from a kitchen counter to a patio at dusk.
