When we drew TRIESTE, we kept thinking about the small clip-on architects' lamps that anchored 1960s drafting tables. A thin shaft, a hooded head, a steady warm pool of light directed downward. The geometry has not been improved since. We only made it cordless, gave it an IP54 rating, and let you carry it from a desk to a covered terrace.
TRIESTE is 13.8 inches tall on a 2-inch base, with a small downward-tilted head. The shaft stays out of the way of the page. The light falls in a controlled pool, not a spill. Six finishes: Black, White, Brown, Gray, Red, Orange.
Designed for bedside reading, focused desk work, intimate dinners, and the table on a covered porch when the light starts to fade.
Touch-tunable from warm to cool
The LED runs from 2700K warm white through to 6500K cool white in a continuous gradient. A tap on the head changes the color. A long press runs the dimmer. Both settings hold in memory between sessions.
The body is aluminum, sealed to IP54. The 1800 mAh battery delivers eight to ten hours of light per charge over USB. The base is weighted enough to sit firmly under a single-finger touch on the head.

IP54 means dust-protected and splash-resistant. The lamp moves easily from a covered patio to a kitchen counter to a child's homework table. No outlet, no cord, no cable tangling under a chair.
