By design
Made to measure.
Hand-finished from natural materials, the VIVA No.01 sits within a few millimeters of these specifications.
3.1 in (8 cm) base
9 in (23 cm)
The small lamp on the night table.
When we drew VIVA, we kept thinking about the kinds of lamps Italian children grew up with. A glossy ceramic body in a single bold color, a round shade on top, sitting on a bedside table in a bedroom painted the same color. The lamps were modest, friendly, and quietly indestructible.
VIVA is the cordless equivalent. A rounded metal base, a small frosted globe set on top, the whole thing 9 inches tall. Four glossy lacquers: Crimson Red, Soft Pink, Pure White, Matte Black. The body color reflects up into the globe when the lamp is lit, tinting the warmth slightly toward the lacquer it sits on.
Small enough for a bedside, a child's nightstand, an entryway console. Friendly enough to read as decoration when the lamp is off.
Lacquered metal, real glass globe
The base is metal, hand-lacquered in a single coat that lets the slight tooling shape of the base show through. The globe is real frosted glass, not plastic. The two parts feel meaningfully different to the touch, which is the point.
A 2000 mAh lithium battery charges over USB-C. The touch surface on the base cycles through three color temperatures (a short tap) and runs the dimmer (a long hold). The lamp remembers the last setting between sessions.
For bedrooms, children's rooms, and quiet corners
Cordless, USB-C charging, hours of warm light per charge. Light enough to move around the house without thinking. Friendly enough to gift.
Four colors. One globe. The small lamp the room remembers.
