A sunburst pressed into wet clay.
When we designed RAGGI, we kept returning to the small ceramic objects we have seen on the shelves of old Italian ateliers: a fluted bowl, a corolla pressed from a single piece of clay, with rays radiating from the center like the spokes of a small sun. Held to the wall, the same gesture becomes a sculptural light.
RAGGI is ten inches across, hand-shaped in matte ceramic, with a small opal glass globe set at the center. The fluted rays catch warm light along their edges and drop shadow into their grooves. Lit, the wall behind it picks up a soft radial pattern.
Four mineral finishes let you place it: deep Forest Green for a textured wall, Volcano Black for graphic contrast, Bronze Copper for warmth, Sand Beige for restraint.
Hand-shaped ceramic, opal glass globe
Each corolla is hand-pressed and hand-finished. The rays are shaped before firing and settle slightly in the kiln. Glaze pools differently in each piece. The opal globe at the center is blown glass, replaceable, with a soft milky surface that diffuses the LED behind it.
The fixture wires through a hidden mount behind the ceramic body. No visible hardware, no plastic trim ring.
