An hourglass of glass and solid brass. Two hand-blown glass cones meet base to base around a cast solid brass collar. Light spills up toward the ceiling and down the wall, split by a thin line of shadow.
Tall enough for entries and long walls. At 16½ in tall and 5 in wide, it suits a tall wall, an entry corridor or both sides of a vanity. Choose Warm Gold, Smoked Gray or Volcano Black.
Wired for U.S. boxes, both bulbs free. The brass backplate covers a standard round U.S. junction box at 120V, and both G9 sockets dim on a standard wall dimmer. Free dimmable G9 bulbs are included, one per socket.
Damp-rated (IP44) for vanity walls. It's rated for bathrooms and covered porches, so a pair can frame the mirror above your vanity or light a covered entry.

An hourglass for a wall.

When we designed DALIA No.02, we kept returning to the brass hourglass sconces of post-war Milanese ateliers: a tight metal waist holding two diffusers, one up, one down. Stezzano. Sarfatti. The geometry was always the same. The proportions did the work.

Our hourglass is 16.5 inches tall. Two hand-blown glass cones, mounted base-to-base around a solid brass collar. From any angle, the light spills both upward toward the ceiling and downward along the wall. The wall reads as two soft cones of light separated by a thin shadow line.

Three finishes for the brass collar. Two glass options for the cones. Six possible combinations. None of them are wrong.

Solid brass, hand-blown glass

The brass collar is cast and machined from solid stock. We offer it in three finishes: warm gold, blackened steel, or polished chrome. The glass cones are hand-blown to a precise taper, either crystal-clear opaline or smoky gray.

Each lamp uses two G9 bulbs (10W max each, LED equivalent, free dimmable bulbs included). Dimmable with a standard wall dimmer.

For tall walls, vanities, and entry corridors

Hardwires into a standard US junction box. Damp-rated (IP44) for bathrooms and covered exteriors.
