  • Candle-shaped, in forged iron and fluted glass. A hand-forged iron arm holds a tall chimney of clear fluted glass around one warm filament-style bulb. Lit, the ribs throw soft vertical stripes onto the wall behind.
  • Honey gold or flat deep black. Pick gold, closer to honey than to chrome, or Deep Black, dense and matte, to suit your wall.
  • Tall enough to hold a wall alone. At 26.4 in tall and 6.3 in deep, one sconce marks an entry and two flank a doorway or line a long corridor.

The shape of a candle, kept honest.

When we designed TORRE, we kept returning to the wall sconces that line older European corridors. A vertical metal arm. A glass chimney. A single point of light. Roman ateliers used to forge them by hand for cloisters and private libraries. We worked from that same drawing, with a quieter palette.

The arm is hand-forged iron, finished in either Elegant Gold or Deep Black. The glass is fluted, transparent, and tall enough to read as a chimney from across the room. Inside it, a single warm-tone bulb. Lit, the piece is closer to a candle than a sconce.

The whole thing is 26 inches high, 6 inches deep. Long enough to anchor a wall on its own.

Forged iron, fluted glass

The iron arm is forged, not cast. The detail at the base is held in shadow by the finish. Our gold tone is closer to honey than to chrome. Our black is dense and flat, not glossy.

The fluted glass is real, not patterned. Each rib catches a different sliver of light. When the bulb is on, the flutes throw a soft striated pattern on the wall behind.

Hardwired, ceremonial, made for halls

Wires into a standard wall box. 120V. Standard wall switch control. A free dimmable bulb is included.

One TORRE marks an entry. Two flank a doorway. Best where the room asks for ceremony.
