NERA is a small piece of theater. The body is a single block of veined Italian marble, four inches tall, turned into a smooth cylinder and hand-polished until the veining catches light from across the room. The mounting collar is hand-finished metal in deep black pearl. From below, it reads as a single mass. From up close, you see the difference: the marble has depth, the metal has reflection, and the seam between them is intentional.

The stone is quarried in northern Italy. Each block carries its own pattern of dark gray veining over white. No two cylinders are identical, and the variation is the point. The cylinder is then turned and polished by hand to a soft, satin finish, neither matte nor mirror.
A flush mount that anchors a room.
Where the VERTIN No.05 reads as a quiet warmth note, NERA does the opposite. It pulls the eye up. It anchors a transition space. A few rooms where it does this best:
