  • An opal globe set just off center. A slim arm lifts a mouth-blown opal globe off-axis above a rectangular metal plinth. Each globe varies slightly in curve and weight and spreads the light into a soft, even halo.
  • Small enough to share a desk with your books. At 9.4 inches tall and 10.2 inches wide, it fits a desk, a console or a nightstand. The base and arm are machined from solid metal, so it sits firmly.
  • Graphic in black, bright in chrome. Matte Black draws a quiet graphic line against a pale wall. Polished Chrome adds shine and catches the room's reflections.

A small globe, cantilevered.

When we drew NOVA, we kept returning to a single image: a desk in a 1960s Milanese studio, a small lamp with the bulb sitting just off-axis from the base, as if the light wanted to step away from the weight. NOVA No.01 holds that gesture. A rectangular metal plinth, a slim arm, an opaline glass globe set asymmetrically above. The composition reads as motion, not as object.

Two finishes: matte black, chrome.

Hand-blown opal, machined metal

The globe is mouth-blown from premium opaline glass. Each one is slightly different in curve and weight. The base and arm are machined from solid metal and lacquered. We use a chromed finish for shine, or a matte black for a quieter graphic line.

Built to live anywhere

Standard US plug. G9 socket. 10W max equivalent. Push-button cord switch. Works with a plug-in lamp dimmer. 120V.
