Why you'll love the ETNA No.01

  • Tilted to wash the wall with light. Each cone is hand-brushed, then anodized, and tilts forward 30 degrees so the light grazes plaster, wood or stone on its way up the wall.
  • Brushed Aluminum or Matte Black, best in a series. The cone is 4.9 in across, the sconce 5.5 inches tall, and it projects 6.3 in from the wall. Run three or four along a hallway or stair.
  • Hardwired for U.S. homes and wall-dimmable. It mounts to a standard U.S. junction box at 120V and works with a standard wall dimmer, so you can take a corridor from bright to low.
  • Warm 3000K light from a hidden LED. The LED sits inside the polished cone, so you see the glow on the wall and never the source. It's rated for 50,000 hours, with no bulb to change.

The cone, the wall, the upcast.

When we drew ETNA No.01, we were thinking about the small uplight sconces that anchor old Roman cafes and barber shops. A brushed aluminum cone mounted by its tip to a rectangular wall bracket. Light goes up, the wall texture catches.

ETNA is six inches tall, six wide. The cone sits canted forward by 30 degrees so the upcast hits the wall at an angle rather than head-on. Reads as a series along a long stone or wood wall.

Two finishes: anodized brushed aluminum and matte black. The LED is integrated, the bulb never needs swapping.

Anodized aluminum, integrated 3000K LED

The cone and bracket are anodized aluminum, hand-brushed before anodizing. The interior of the cone is polished to reflect the LED upward with controlled diffusion.

The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours and tuned to 3000K. Warm, dim-friendly, never harsh.

Built for plaster, travertine, walnut walls

Hardwired to a standard US junction box via the rectangular bracket. Works with a standard wall dimmer. The bracket projects 6 inches from the wall, the cone projects another 2.

Reads best in a series. Three or four along a wall trace the architecture.
