Why you'll love the MANTOVA No.01

  • Aim the beam exactly where you read. The matte metal head tilts and rotates, putting the focused beam on your page and out of the eyes of the person beside you. Tilt it deeper for a tighter pool.
  • Dark wood and stone-effect resin. A solid dark wood backplate carries a cylindrical body in high-density stone-effect resin, which looks like concrete or basalt but is lighter and easier to mount.
  • Compact for a bedside pair. At 6.3 inches tall with a 2.6-inch head, it fits above a reading chair or in pairs on either side of a bed, so each side gets its own light.
  • Hardwired to your regular wall switch. Each spot hardwires to a standard U.S. wall junction box at 120V and runs on a regular wall switch. There's no bulb to change, and this model isn't dimmable.

When we drew MANTOVA, we kept thinking about the small adjustable bedside spots that appeared in 1960s European hotels. Practical lights with full directional control, finished in materials honest enough to live in a private bedroom. Functional first, decorative because the materials were good.

MANTOVA is a small directional spot on a flat dark wood backplate, paired with a stone-effect cylindrical body. The head tilts and rotates so the beam goes exactly where you need it, never into the eye of the person next to you. The light is integrated LED, focused and precise.

Mount one over a chair for reading. Mount a pair flanking a bed for individual control. The body is small enough to layer into furniture-heavy rooms without dominating the wall.

Dark wood, stone-effect resin

The base is solid dark wood, finished to bring out the grain. The cylindrical body is high-density resin with a stone surface treatment, reading visually as concrete or basalt but lighter to ship and easier to mount. The combination is honest about what it is.

The LED is integrated and focused into a precise beam. Adjust depth by tilting the head; the deeper the tilt, the more focused the beam reads on the page or surface below.

120V, hardwired

Wired for standard 120V US circuits. Hardwires into any standard wall junction box.
