A cube of solid travertine, six inches on each side, pierced through with circular portals on four sides. Inside, a single opal globe glows softly. The stone frames the light without containing it.

The portals are off-center on each face, deliberately. From every angle you see something different: a sliver of stone, a half-globe, a clean circular cut through the cube. It is a piece you want to walk around.

Solid travertine, hand-cored

Each cube is cut from a single block of Italian travertine. The portals are core-drilled and finished by hand. The pores of the stone read at arm's length: this is real travertine, not a cast. The cap is solid walnut, the cable a braided black cotton.

Inside, a hand-blown opal globe diffuses the bulb to a soft pool. There are no visible filaments, no harsh highlights.

Solo or linear trio

Solo for a single pendant above a small table.
